How did you get into hairdressing? What inspired you?
I decided to enroll on a hairdressing college course which I absolutely loved - the creativity within the
industry is so exciting and the opportunities endless. I felt a real sense of achievement at the end of the
course and I knew hairdressing was the career for me.
What's your worst haircut?
In the past I have always played it safe with my hair and was so bored of my mid-length style with side
fringe. Once I started working with Adrian I was inspired to have a style change and have never looked
Why do you like hairdressing?
I love the freedom it gives me to be creative and expressive in my job and the sense of achievement I get
from working with clients every day is unbeatable!
Which era represents hair the best in your opinion?
I am loving the shorter, sharper styles which are currently in fashion, especially loved by the younger
crowd. The hair fits perfectly with the trend for more masculine tailoring right now - so sexy!
Which celebrity would you like to get your hands on to restyle and why?
Definitely Amy Winehouse - she has been stuck in a styling rut with that messy 'do since I can remember!
A new, more chic hairstyle would revamp her look and go some way to giving her a more positive image.
Where do you see yourself in 10years time?
What Adrian has achieved in his career so far inspires me so I would one day hope to be as good as him. I
am dedicated to working hard and taking on board all of the training Adrian gives me and the team.
What's your favourite OSiS product and why?
Dust It (£11.70)! I love the texture it gives, especially on fine hair. Clients always think it is an amazing
little product which performs miracles! Hair feels fuller with a really modern, matt texture.
